I believe that the teachers job is not just to teach, but to inspire students to reach their language goals. For me, the most rewarding feeling is seeing the satisfaction of students who have succeeded. Whether it’s passing their first English test or giving a business presentation at an important meeting, I am with you every step of the journey. I have been teaching for over 30 years and during that time have lived in many countries around the world; including Chile, the United States of America and Japan. With that experience, I know exactly how to customize lessons for each student based on their goals and learning style.

My name is Rene and I was born in Santiago, Chile, but grew up in Santa Monica, California. I am fluent in both English and Spanish,I studied English at Santa Monica College and at Evans Community College. I hold a TESOL certificate from Cambridge University,London.
I can also speak conversational japanese.
I have taught Business English to many executives both in Japan and in Chile and helped students with their TOEFL/TOEIC/IELTS examinations.
I really enjoy teaching. I have a unique teaching method and cover all aspects of English, teaching,writing, listening,reading and speaking.
My classes are fun and I guarantee a great learning experience.
I am very patient and understand the difficulties students have learning a new language.
